| | Jamiroquai - 05 - Music Of The Mind.mp3 | ] | I'm so sick of ppl saying that Jay Kay can't sing and that the band is no good. Emergency on Planet Earth, Track 05 - Music of the Mind. 6 minutes and 22 seconds of pure, aural BLISS. It's...it's just indescribable how awesome this group is. This is the best instrumental they've ever made. I've got to find this album, but it doesn't get stocked properly anywhere near me. Jamiroquai fans everywhere: Stop what you're doing now and LISTEN TO THIS TRACK. *^_^* |

| | MELL - Repeat | ] | Today I started my physical therapy to get the motion in my left pinkie back. Earlier this month, I had the pleasure of having my left hand roundhoused by a fellow TKD student during a no-contact sparring match. At one point, he had me backed into a corner. He sent a kick my way that I thought I was going to parry, but instead he ended up nailing both my pinkie and ring finger, the pinkie taking the brunt of the hit. After the X-Ray, it turned out that I had a hairline fracture. Dr. had me use a splint and/or buddy tape to keep it straight. Worked for a while, but never healed properly. Tried to get in contact with previously mentioned Dr., but he mysteriously didn't answer our calls. Saw another Doctor and was recommended to get PT for the finger. That started today.
At first it was fine. My mother decided that she should come with me to make they, the physical therapists, didn't break anything. While she was sitting there, they just tested the limit of my motion. But the SECOND she left, they turned into the masochistic BASTARDS they truly were. They wrapped my pinkie all the way to my palm. Let me tell you that when small muscles and ligaments that have become taut from inactivity HURT LIKE HELL when they're forced to stretch back to their original length. I was seriously close to tearing hella. Turns out both joints on my pinkie were taut, so when they taped it to my palm, it was like two levels of pain just shooting from it. This went on for 10 minutes. :\\\
After my time ran out, they gave me a stress ball to squeeze, and cold creme for my finger, cuz it was blazing hot after they finished with it. I go back Wednesday for more of the same. And to think, after this, I have to have a cyst removed from the back of my leg.
Good times.:x |

| | distressed | ] | So, I broke my pinky in Tae Kwon Do a few months back and it hasn't healed properly. Now, I've got to take physical therapy to get the movment back, or it'll never return. At work, I lifted too many box fulls of Dot Matrix printers, putting too much strain on my right leg, resulting in a Baker's Cyst right behind my knee. Now I've got to have surgery to REMOVE that. Not only because it's an eyesore, but also because of the stiffness it's causing back there.
I swear, I've got to get out of this area before it kills me. |

| | Fish Tone - Fish Tone | ] | I have shit lying my room, my sister's old room, and my brother's old room. It's mostly clothes in the last two, but most of my junk is in mine. I have a clothes hamper that's overflowing with clean and dirty clothes. My closet has ALL of my life's history in it. Toys I played with and broke from the 80s all the way up to the 90s. Megazords and Gundams lie on the top shelf of it. And my comic collection is currently exposed to the elements cuz I have my clothes drawer where I have them now all open for easy access.
When I FINALLY leave home at the end of the year, I have absolutely no clue as to what's gonna happen to it all. My mother has been telling me for years what she's gonna do to my room, so I hope some of my stuff will survive her final solution... |

| | Calm - Authentic Love Song | ] | So, I went to my buddy Mike D.'s (Guile Mike on SRK) house warming party on Saturday. I decided to crash at my other buddy Adonis' house. I had a pretty good time.
Mike's place is out in bumfuck Tallahassee. I know exactly how to get there since it's outside of the city and on a road that easily accessible to me, so rock. It's also one of many house being built out in this new surburban area, so that means plenty of parties before everybody moves in. Anyhoo, the place is NICE, and he has the place tricked out bigtime. His computer/gaming room has like XBOXes and PS2s everywhere, with his MASSIVE gaming library fitting nicely in his large ass closet. The kitche is connected with the living room, so hoorary for economoy of building. The living room itself has plenty of bare wall, so he bought a projector to play games on it. How sweet is that?
The real treat for the whole place is his room. It's got two dressers on either side of the bed. One's filled with new and old DVD movies that most ppl'll have a nostalgia fit upon inspecting it (I did). The other side is full of COMPLETE anime series on DVD. Gundam series, Hellsing, Big O, Beserk, all that shit. I was frothing at the mouth looking at all that shit he had on display there. Talk about the ultimate room. The only thing he needed was a bigger bed and a bigger TV, and he'd be all set.
Got in a few online games of KOF2K3 (got rocked, rocked others). I am nowhere near as efficient with K' as I thought I was. I did find out that my Billy Kane is annoying as fuck, though.:D No too bad for a person who only plays against the CPU. Played two matches of uber laggy 3rd Strike and was disgusted. After that, I got down on some DDR and didn't even have to feel embarassed. I gave off the illusion of my being drunk, thereby giving me some leeway on my horrible lack of rythm.
Party ended sometime later, so myself, Adonis, and my other buddy, Jay, went back to his place for some #R and 3S. I absolutely gave Adonis HELL in #R. I didn't fall for nearly as much of his bullshit as I usually do. Add to the fact that I was FRCing Sol's Gun Flames WAY more accurately than usualy, lent me the ability to add pressure games on him that he usuallyd doesn't get from me. We popped in 3S and he put it on me with Yang. I eventually got the upper-hand with Dudley, putting the mixup game to work, giving his Yang all the fun he could stand. Then I played Jay's Alex and got ROCKED. He's very good with Alex. Made my Dudley look horrible. I got 7 wins off him. I need to learn how to parry his shit and watch out for his throw setup, or else I'm gonna be dying to his stun giving ass all day.
We played till 8 in the morning, and after the last match, I fell right to sleep. Shit was ridiculous cuz I didn't even realize how fast I had fallen asleep. The last thing I remembe saying was "Give me a minute," then I was gone to the world. Woke up a little later, had some breakfast in the afternoon, watched a few JLU episodes and then went home in time enough catch the season premier of American Dad. Family Guy's premier sucked hard in comparison. Patrick Stewart is awesome.

Really like that "assassination" part.
And I'm also a chaotic neutral. The only other time I was referred to as that, an acquaintance was trying to get me to play AD&D.:///
| You scored as Chaotic Neutral. A Chaotic Neutral person is someone who is self-motivated to the extreme. Thier actions may sometimes confuse others, due to their lack of moral affiliation. They have little respect for laws, and avoid both the temptation of evil and a feeling of duty to do good. These people can go along with either side of an argument- as long as they benifit from the result!

| | Wu-Tang Clan - Wu-Tang: 7th Chamber | ] | Getting paid monthly SUCKS.
It's like the second I get the money, it's already been spent on things I know I need. 100 dollars goes to insurance, 15-20 dollars for these little snacks I buy from Wal-Mart to eat during lunch at work. I can't put up a an actual number of dollars I spend on gas. That's mainly due in part to how prices are constantly fluctuating down here, almost of an amoeba like level. It's ridiculous. All I can say is that when I first started working, it only cost about 50 bones to get me through the month. That includes trips to Tallahassee for late night fighting game sessions and misc trips to see a female.
After all those expenses, I really don't have much in terms of spending money. I think the only thing I'm gonna be able to buy for myself next month is the SF Anniversary Collection Strategy Guide. I'm thinking about picking up another character in 3rd Strike. I just got this Elena combo video from Combovideos.com that was pretty impressive. Just might pick her up.
I could definitely use some DVD-Rs. Kung Fu Hustle is out, and Ong Bak will be out tomorrow, and those are two titles I definitely need in my library.
Being too dependant on money you barely have seriously sucks. But I still can't wait to get paid. |

| | Junx Remix - Mijk van Dyk | ] | Got a boost of confidence from a female co-worker(smart babe), giving me the ability to take no shit from these little wankers at the library I'm working in.
Today, they ran the usual plays: Talking loud, laughing loud, walking from computer station to computer station, telling their buddies what server they should playing on in Runescape. But I shut their gameplan down today, after they tried to run a trick play on me.
This group of regular rabblerousers attempted to sneak their computer passes by me, idling the stations they were using in the process. When this happens, other patrons who may be in dire need of a computer to use for research or homework become pretty much screwed. So I stopped their asses at the door, brought em back and discharged their cards. After that, they were complacent young gentlemen. I, on the other hand, decided to sling my schlong around in SUPREME VICTORY.:D
This is just the beginning. They'll be absolutely sick of me by the time I leave in December. GOOD. They've got a lot of hating to catch up on, cuz I'm way ahead in terms of hating them. Little bastards. |

| | The Isley Brothers - Harvest for the World | ] | I can't believe I made eggs for the first time in my life. EVER! And they were good. Damn good. Snake would approve if he had to eat them in the jungle to survive. Anyhoo, I'm currently broke as all hell, so I went to sleep late last night and woke up entirely too early, ready to face the entire day on an empty stomach.
I started off pretty good, but by 4 o'clock, I was feeling the effects of not having had a crumb of food to eat for that day. There were some doughnuts in the kitchen of the library that I'm currently working in, but they were chocolate, and tasted like ass. So I just tightened the belt around the old stomach, and went to class.
Got to class tired and hungry, not giving a damn about Linux or its "essentials." Annoying rich boy with his pimped out PC sitting in the corner on the other side of the room won't shut up about how awesome crucial.com's memory is. I can't really concentrate on this virtual terminal cuz I'm too busy thinking about what my momma (not mother, MOMMA) might be cooking tonight (spoiler: she cooked nothing).
Break time.
I look out of the corner of my eye to see my instructor microwaving corn. My quick wits prompted me to feign ignorance and ask him a dumb question like "Is that corn, or popcorn?" He looks and says that its corn, but he'll happily pop some popcorn for the class. I tell him to hurry the hell up.
I eat about two small platefuls of the popcorn, which was actually quite buttery *wiggles fingers*, btw. Finished up class with a little boost, got in my car and sped home.
Walked in to see my mother not cooking anything. Stepped into my sister's former room, now turned gym/computer lab, and powered up my comp. Logged onto the net, googled how to make scrambled eggs, printed out the directions, and got to work.
I used three eggs, Garlic powder, and salt & pepper. I mixed them up good. Slapped a piece of butter on the skillet and watched it melt, then applied the egg fluid to it. I didn't really know what I was doing with the spatula, so I ended up making more of an omelette than srambled eggs. It really didn't matter, though, as I wanted to eat an egg sandwich anyhow. Mayo, Mustard, and Bacon Bits were the condiments of choice.
I had enough for two sandwiches.
I ate them both.
The end to a starved day. |
